Phoenix Center for the Arts

The Phoenix Center for the Arts, a division of the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department, originally was established as an art center intended to house the department’s art coordinators. Following the building’s renovation with a federal grant, it became a full-fledged performing arts center complete with a theater, gallery and classrooms.

Located in central Phoenix, the center brings together students, volunteers and professionals of all ages and skill levels who are passionate about the arts. The public is invited to take advantage of the center’s many programs, events and classes.
