The Phoenix Civic Center is located in the downtown area of Copper Square, conveniently located and within walking distance to the area's top hotels, restaurants, sports arenas, night spots, museums, and more and less than 10 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport. It is next to Symphony Hall, the home of the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, Arizona Opera, and a wide range of performing arts events. The major cross streets are Monroe to Jefferson, 2nd to 5th Street.

Phoenix Civic Plaza can accommodate a 1,500-exhibit convention, or up to 25,000 delegates; or two medium-sized conventions of 3,000 to 5,000 delegates simultaneously.   It will soon be served by a new light rail system that will carry passengers between the aiport and the downtown area.
