White Tank Mountain Regional ParkWhite Tank Mountain Regional Park Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) White Tank Mountain Regional Park is nearly 30,000 acres, making it the largest regional park in Maricopa County. The park features biking, hiking, camping, horseback riding, picnic areas, and history. Day hikes can provide some breathtaking views of the mountains and panoramas of the valley below. Horseback and mountain bike riders are welcomed, although caution is stressed as some of the trails may be extremely difficult. The White Tank Riding Stables, located at the entrance to the White Tank Mountain Regional Park provides one hour and longer guided rides. Park Hours: Sun-Thu: 6am-8pm; Fri-Sat: 6am-10pm; 365 days a year. Fees: $5.00 per vehicle entry fee Directions: The park is about 15 miles west of Peoria, AZ.
